iMovie editing While using iMovie I have learnt how to edit clips to make them shorter, I have learnt how to edit sounds into the clips and how to put filters over the clips. I have included both diegetic and non-diegetic sounds in this trailer. The non-diegetic sounds being the footstep, and diegetic sounds being the songs. I could improve on adding more sound effects, more happy/ comedy clips. I could also try to add more filters in to create more of a happy feeling, instead of using the black and white filter at the beginning. Although i do think it ended up being pretty cool, I like the way I've edited out all of the scary bits and added in the jolly music. I think it's made quite a cool effect.

These were the original photos from the shoot, i ended up picking out tithe one below because i thought it would work the best.

    I think most of the shoot went well, other than some photos not focusing, they turned out pretty good. My favourite photo is the second one down, the angle works the best for me.

Planning My horror poster is going to be themed around IT .  Props: Yellow coat Red balloon (filled with helium) Welly boots (green) Dark blue jeans Smoke Clown Stool  Stage: We could do with using the studio for the spot light. Being outside for the puddles. A dark room.

  The colour pallet used in this poster is mostly black, red and grey. This creates the effect of mystery and fear. Red could be a symbol of blood, violence and fear. Black could be a symbol for death, again violence and darkness. Grey could mean misery, mystery and terror. The text used for IT changes colour when the clowns 'name' is mentioned, this makes the poster that tiny but more frightening. The image is of the clown ' IT ' (also known as pennywise), personally i think the clown would draw people to the movie more than if there was a doll on the cover. I think this because a lot more people are afraid of clowns and would want to see it. Common Colours: Red - Red makes me think of blood, horror, death and roses. Black - Black makes me think of death, darkness, night, thunder and funeral. Grey - Grey makes me think of rainy days, dark clouds, being depressed and dullness. White - clouds, light, ghost, weddings and stars.

Horror Poster Common Conventions These posters all look dark and mysterious. All of the titles in these have a bit of red in them.  Red could mean anger, fear, blood, etc. There is a character centred right in the middle of the poster. The character is either looking directly at you or facing away. The titles are very obvious. Slogans and tag lines. Common colours: Red - Red makes me think of blood, horror, death and roses. Black - Black makes me think of death, darkness, night, thunder and funeral. Grey - Grey makes me think of rainy days, dark clouds, being depressed and dullness. White - clouds, light, ghost, weddings and stars. Common images: The characters tend to be right in the centre of the poster, very obvious to the people that they are important to the movie. They all use pathetic fallacy to make it more mysterious and moody. They use certain props to make it more scary.
