Learning Objective:
Opinions on gender and sexuality have changes a lot from 1965. These days people are a lot more open to being gay, David Cameron actually legalised gay marriage in the UK on the 29th March 2014. Some people still do have problems with it, but we now have a celebration called 'pride'. This celebrates the genders and sexualities of everyone. However back in the 1965's people weren't so open to the thought of people being gay. If was seen as bad to date somebody of the same gender and definitely couldn't marry them. A lot less people today are religious. Back in the 1965's Christianity was seen as a very important religion and not very many people wouldn't believe in God. It was seen as a bit weird if you weren't religious. However these days you can believe in whatever you want, or nothing and its seen as okay.
Which political party was in power in 2015
The conservatives.
Who was PM in 2015?
