I think most of the shoot went well, other than some photos not focusing, they turned out pretty good.
My favourite photo is the second one down, the angle works the best for me.
I am creating a magazine aimed at kids aged 11-14, I have themed it around dogs as kids this age are often getting their first pets to look after. This magazine is going to teach them how to train their dogs, what is safe and unsafe for their pups, and random fun facts that may come in helpful! I have kept the colour scheme to one a child this age would be hooked into, blues/purples etc, with splashes of colour amongst to keep it vibrant, as they are calming colours that compliment the excitement the target audience will be feeling when they see the dogs. However, the front cover will have a range of colours, as all these different aspects will excite the children, drawing them into the magazine making them want to buy it. The main image on the front will be of a dog, preferably a Jack Russel, sat right centre of the page. Successful interview techniques. Listen. From the very beginning of the interview, your interviewer is giving you information, either directly or indirectly. If you are not hearing it, you are missing a major opportunity. Good communication skills include listening and letting the person know you heard what was said. Observe your interviewer, and match that style and pace. Don't talk too much. Telling the interviewer more than he needs to know could be a fatal mistake. When you have not prepared ahead of time, you may ramble when answering interview questions, sometimes talking yourself right out of the job.
